Missourians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty (MADP) is holding a discussion Thursday in Springfield to talk about the death penalty and wrongful convictions.
The event will focus on Reggie Clemmons, a Missouri man who was sentenced to death for murder. Clemmons' execution has been halted because of doubt about his guilt.
The event will be held at Mercy's Cancer Center auditorium, 2055 S. Freemont starting at 7:00 p.m.
